        Here is a list of events that occur on a regular basis in and around Fairfield.  Use this list as a guide and check with the program's website for more detailed scheduling information.




Both the Main library and the Woods Branch, as well as Southport's Pequot Library offer many programs and events for children from infants to teens.  Please go to "Libraries/Storytimes" in "Our Town" for a list of children's programs and visit the Fairfield Public Library website and Pequot Library website for all schedule and registering information.

Visit the "Teen Calendar" for all teen events happening at both libraries.

Brick Walk Farmers Market
Saturdays 9 am - noon at the Promenade at The Brick Walk.  Enter between Jos. A. Banks and Trek stores.  Sample artisan breads, baked goods, honey, locally grown produce and meats and much more! A fun Saturday morning outing for the whole family.

Saturdays from 12:30 -  4 p.m.; mid-June through October, 2009.  Features fresh locally grown produce, herbs, plants, breads, cheeses, pies, fresh eggs, flowers, Along Came Carol Catering and weekly guest vendors.


This is the place to find fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables in the Greenfield Hills area. The quaint little market provides the area with fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, organic produce, eggs, baked goods, and more. Occasional weekly events take place, such as summer concerts on the green, food demonstrations, and more. This is a delightful little market that has blossomed into a must attend weekly family event.
